Made in Blender, this was a lot of fun to create. I‘m still trying to get a better grip on the software, its capabilities and limitations. But it feels nice to slowly establish a workflow and have a more systematic approach on how to construct objects and scenes. It‘s also challenging to „have to think things out in advance“ whereas in digital painting, you can get away with very rough initial concepts that you can basically adjust and expand on at any point throughout the process.

I only did very few adjustments in Photoshop (really only color grading, curves and blur). So most of the image is pretty much as it came out of Blender.

Jan Urschel‘s amazing tutorials were instrumental in creating this and he really has a great way of teaching the fundamentals of design, composition and the software itself.
